Our community is at a crossroads… We need to preserve our small community feel and history while balancing growth of area development and hi-tech businesses. I’m not a politician nor have aspirations outside of Herndon. I’m an executive, a small business consultant, an eager volunteer leader for community events and organizations, a resident of the Historic District, and concerned member of our town. For me, running for Mayor is an extension of my community service. It is always about doing what’s best for our people and our town. We need leaders who truly listen to all members of our community with one goal: to get things done, responsibly and inclusively.

Nonpartisan Issues Deserve Inclusive Voices

We decide local concerns such as land use and traffic patterns related to downtown re-development or metro extensions. These are not the issues of our national and state parties. We need a Mayor who can work with everyone, locally and regionally, remain objective when bringing forth concerns, listen to all citizen viewpoints even if they differ politically, and make the decisions that support our community best. Keven knows how to work with others to fix problems.

Strategy Translated to Action

Over the last 20 years, Keven has developed company strategies regularly. He even works with the Federal government, such as Veterans Affairs, to develop strategic and operational plans for their missions. As a COO, he always rolled up his sleeves to work with his teams to translate that strategy to actionable plans and operational processes. He employed these same skills to bring community events to fruition in Herndon. Key among them is his ability to cross traditional organizational boundaries. Keven is objective, deliberate and has the interpersonal skills to find the solution for everyone.

Present and Accountable to the Community

A better Herndon is possible! Keven believes in Herndon and that means in all our citizens, who each have their own experiences, struggles, concerns, and hopes. Keven believes in grass-roots leadership and wants to engage with each Herndon citizen, forming a bridge to Town staff and our County and State lawmakers and civil workers. Keven believes leaders must be present to lead and wants everyone to be a part of keeping our leaders accountable and engaged.
